RTRC Asia is a leader in the
training and development of early childhood professionals
both locally and in the region.
We offer a full
range of training programmes from Certificate to Masters'
level, of which the Diploma, Degree and Masters Programmes
are accredited by foreign universities such as Wheelock
College, Boston, USA and the University of South Australia.
RTRC Asia also offers a full-time diploma programme
in collaboration with Ngee Ann Polytechnic and works
collaboratively with partners like the PAP Community
Foundation to offer customised training programmes
for their teachers and staff.

Asia's reputation as a leader in the training and development
of early childhood professionals has been well established
through our local programmes and regional consultation
services over the years. Our expertise in providing
early childhood care and education programmes and
consultation services also extend to various international
organisations such as UNICEF and PLAN International.
For more then 10 years, RTRC Asia has conducted customised
training programmes for early childhood educators
from the ASEAN and Asia Pacific regions, under the
auspices of the Singapore Cooperation Programme of
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and UNICEF.
Learning Environment
Training
Over here in RTRC Asia, we have a total of 6 classrooms and one training ground can accommodate a capacity of 50 students. Each teacher carries great responsibility of accountability for 40 - 50 students in the class. To better assist our teachers in their teaching and for the convenience of students to make presentations or other AV assistance, our lecture rooms are equipped with the needed equipments. This includes overhead projector, video and audio equipment. After an exhaustive lesson, students are offered refreshments to fill their stomach and ease their mind.
RTRC Asia Resource Library
The RTRC Asia Resource Library specializes in the field of childcare and early childhood education. It carries a total of more than 10,000 titles comprising a wide range of textbooks, manuals, resource books, current periodicals, print and online journals, and children's literature.
The library also has a showcase of resources developed by students and faculty.
It also has a selection of regional publications. The library is opened to current enrolled students and alumni members only.
Computer Facilities
PC workstations are available for free access in the library.
All workstations are networked to the copier in the library.
Printouts are charged to copy cards at 10 cents per A4 black & white only.
Copy cards are available for purchase within the Library.
Self-service: Photocopying and Printing
Printing facilities are available in the library. You will need to purchase a copier card.
Cards can be purchased at the library counter.
Purchase of the card costs $5.00 (minimum), which will allow you 50 copies. Another card costs $10.00 (maximum), which will allow you 100 copies for printing.
Copy cards are available for purchase within the Library.
