Professional Support Professional Advisory Council
The Professional Advisory Council (PAC) advises
on all matters relating to Early Childhood Care
and Education standards, policies and practices
that will establish RTRC Asia as the pre-eminent
leader in childcare and educational services in
Singapore and in the Asia region.
The Council deliberates
on matters pertaining to the quality of early childhood
care and education practices at the childcare centres
and teacher education, including setting of guidelines
for developing curriculum and educational programmes
and helps to set international benchmarks for quality
excellence in childcare services and teacher education
for RTRC Asia.

International Advisory Panel
Set up in 2002, RTRC Asia's International Advisory
Panel (IAP) comprises leading world authorities
in the field of early childhood care and education.
It provides RTRC Asia with international linkages
and peer recognition, setting industry benchmarks
in Singapore and the region.
The IAP reviews the programmes
and research activities of RTRC Asia in order for
it to become a catalyst in promoting the latest
thinking and best practices in the field, and evaluate
the applicability of these trends to Singapore and
the region. The IAP also provides RTRC Asia with
valuable assistance, advice and networks in the
initiation of regional and international collaborations
with similar and/or related organisations in the
early childhood field towards the development of
new training and consultancy programmes.

The Academic Review Board The Academic Review Board is jointly selected by
RTRC Asia and Wheelock College. Its main function
is to review and oversee the implementation of the
academic policies and practices relating to academic
matters in the Diploma programmes.
